Explore the Three Shores By Season

Each year, we welcome the hallmark tastes and experiences that signify the arrival of each new season. As much as we love the sunshine, long days, ripe berries, outdoor folk festival concerts, beach bonfires, sea kayaking, and sandcastle contests of summer, we greet the beauty of fall with a cheer. As much as we love the crazy quilt colours of our hardwood forests; crisp, glorious days made for long bike rides; gigantic pumpkins, local wines, and golden corn; and as much as we love art tours and evenings of theatre in autumn, we get giddy when the first snow of winter flies. As much as we love long evenings spent at intimate concerts; fireside dinners prepared by great chefs; wild tube rides down mountainsides; quiet hikes through silent woods on snowy trails; and the dramatic surf that winter throws our way, we can’t help but dance when the first signs of spring appear. And as much as we love the season of new beginnings when baby animals arrive in wildlife parks and on heritage farms, when parks and museums greet a new season of visitors, when eagles and plovers and ducks flock to rich feeding grounds in salt marshes and valley fields, and as much as we love the taste of freshly-tapped maple syrup and a brand new lobster fishing season – we sure do love it when summer rolls around again.

Come any time of year and fall in love with the four magnificent seasons of our Three Shores.
